1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website stores in the user's browser and which allow, among other things, preferences to be remembered, sessions to be kept or audiences to be measured. The regulations require the user's prior consent for cookies that are not strictly necessary to provide the requested service.

2. Cookies used by this Site

This Site does not use analytics, advertising, social media or third-party tracking cookies. It does not incorporate third-party scripts that install cookies, and fonts and other resources are served from our own domain.

The Internet Guardians page (educational content for kids) stores only three values in your browser's local storage (localStorage) to remember the chosen language and game progress: kids-lang, cy-best and kids-deck-<language>. These are not cookies, are never sent to any server, and can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.

The Site is served through Cloudflare's infrastructure, which may set cookies of a technical and strictly necessary nature for the security and operation of the service (protection against bots and automated attacks). These cookies are exempt from the consent requirement under article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE and the AEPD's criteria, so no acceptance banner is shown.

3. If we introduce cookies in the future

If at any point we were to introduce cookies that require consent (for example, audience measurement), we would update this policy and implement a mechanism for prior acceptance and rejection, with rejection being as easy as acceptance, in accordance with the AEPD's criteria.
